If you're looking for riff-ripping, in-your-face rock, then you've come to the right place! Welcome to the music and mindset of Pepperboy. And just what is that? It's killer riffs, a formidable rhythm section, and intense vocals. It's the attitude and energy it creates. It's what we know, it's what we do best. Pepperboy's sound isn't new or revolutionary, nor do we pretend it to be. It's embedded in a long line of guitar-driven hard rock, from Aerosmith in the 70's, to GN'R in the 80's, Pearl Jam in the 90's, and onwards to present-day bands like Nickelback. But just because our music is rooted in the great tradition of hard rock doesn't mean it sounds generic. Instead, our infusion of songwriting, energy and attitude gives Pepperboy a style we can proudly call our own.
We have one goal - and that is to rock! When Pepperboy hits the stage, we're looking to suspend reality, if only for a set at a time. From our perspective, when we step onstage, it's like entering another world. One in which any and all troubles and problems are forgotten in a wash of melody and rhythm, power chords and backbeats, energy and sweat. There's nothing else like it. It's this sense of euphoria that we want to share with the audience. And when the music hits them and they respond, we know the connection has been made…and our goal has been achieved.
