Dolly Dolly- sharp, ring: mystical discoveries through copper strings. dolly is one, "dolly", who composes his own music and records in his room. what is Dolly's sound?? chordy ( a lot of minor), amateur classical, simple beat, both organic (drumset), and plastic (drum machine) korg ms10 purpose- to somehow, consciously or unconsciously, inspire people to search on their own for truth, and ultimately freedom of the self, under Nietczhe's realism. hope without religion.....

February 4= Portland really won't know what hit them once Dolly begins the new Revolution. Upset that 23 people have browsed through the Dolly web site, and failed to vote Dolly as their favorite band. We will not need you when the Dolly Revolution begins. Dolly may indeed be very mysterious to you. I was skeptical to even advertise myself in these early stages, but I decided Dolly needs a beginning point. Let me make it clear that those who have the opportunity to listen to Dolly's sound may be confused or misunderstand it's depths. Dolly's music is about imagination, exploration and ideas. Dolly doesn't bother with technicalities or perfection. Perfection simply does not exist. One thing can be assured, there is only one Dolly. I am not copyrighted yet. If any amateurs want to steal any of my ideas that i have printed on this page, i encourage against, but if that happens, i will simply come up with better ideas. With that being said, I encourage your curiousity, and hope to see you when the Dolly Revolution begins in the somewhat unknown future. bavarius! dolly

February 6- 40% percent finished with the new album. I've decided to make this record as if the music was just being performed for this record. My last effort, "plaster of paris", was designed with the intent to be performed later, with a live band. When I first moved to Portland, i tried to put together the Dolly Dolly band but was frustrated by the people who were interested in playing with me. They tried to destroy my music. That's why I like the idea of the "Dolly is Business" tour (see upcoming shows). The Dolly Revolution will be like an organism, and on the tour , i will attract atoms and particles and such. i must admit, i know little about science, but by performing solo, i can meet people along the tour who liked the performance, and if they play, and want to participate 'my way', then they can join the band. Musicians fail to realize that every role of a band is important. In "Dolly Dolly", I am the leader because Dolly is my creation. Anybody who wants to participate is welcome, but they must work according to their role. Musicians i have met here wanted to collaborate with me. some wanted to take the center role. My philosophy is, if you want to be the leader, do what i'm doing. start your own project. . . Anyway, this new album is working out well so far. I'm experimenting a bit with surrealism. I must admit, on a few of the new tracks, i don't exactly what i'm trying to say. But I have captured an energy on tape, that's what's most important. I cannot wait for this album to be finished so i can share it with the public and begin the Dolly Revolution. bavarius, Dolly
Feb. 10- had a dream last night that i was speaking to an angel about my health. she told me i had to start eating fruit and vegetables, because from the looks of my pale face, i was probally gonna die soon. Feb.11- caffeine at the library. . . april 10- the DOLLY REVOLUTION begins!!!! POrtlanders, come witness Dolly's debut april 24 at Kelly's Olympian in downtown portland. i'll get the adress and the price for you a bit later. You will see face paint, monkeys, kareoke, performance art, and music!!!! u must also check out the band Dykeritz. Dyke and Dolly go hand by hand. they are a great band. together, the night shall be a celebration of innovative music and booze. . . .
