Description:
Bobby Doran's musical style is a mix of many different genres. Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, even a touch of Folk. Many describe Bobby as a rock band unplugged performance. With over 80 original songs, all of which, find it's own way to be unique and diverse from one another, but with the same hooks that keep each song catchy and appealing. With a vocal capacity that flows with aggressive acoustic rock riffs, as well as heartwarming lullabies Bobby Doran’s live show is ear catching as well as eye catching. With some fancy footwork, Bobby turns a solo, live performance into a five piece rock band, incorporating the use of analog looping pedals into some songs.

Tejon, Colorado Springs Jeb Burgess opening the show - check it out *NOTE: Due to lack of seating it would be advised to get there early for best seating judging by the last Pikes Perk show - 1/15/04 "Loveland / Greely area showcase" Come support the indy scene at the Java Lounge in Loveland, Colorado on Saturday, January 31st. The showcase features Bobby Doran, Tara Lee, Judith Avers, Michael Waido. more info will be available as soon as possible. - 1/12/04 "First show back in Colorado" Johnson & Wales University - Denver Campus, Pete's Pub. Show begins at 9pm. This will be Bobby's first full show in Denver. Don't miss out!
- 1/11/04 "Great Turnout" It was an excellent turnout for the Century Lounge show last night. Despite temperatures below freezing in Southern New England. Many made their way through the cold to watch another excellent Bobby Doran performance. It was the last one in the area for a while, until he makes his return in February for the Newport Winter Festival. Thanks to all that sacrificed their Saturday nights to come support Bobby. - 1/6/04 New show added for January 10th @ The Century Lounge, Providence, RI The show is 18+, and the Doors open at 8pm. Bobby Doran will be the opener for Some Weird Band & The Bind. CD's will be on sale. - 1/4/04 Bobby will be performing in Providence, RI once again. First on Monday night, January 5th, at The Call. Then once again on Tuesday night, January 6th, at The Century Lounge for their weekly open mic nights. Since Bobby has no regular shows sheduled, this is a good chance for fans and friends alike, to catch a few songs and most of all hang out and have a good time. Show begins at 9pm. ALL AGES.
