Description:
Warren Zevon, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello show their influence in the music of David Davenport, as do more elemental writers and performers such as Harry Belafonte, John Lennon, and Al Green. Review Magazine praised the "gospel-like harmonies", and The Bay City Times said he plays and sings "like a man possessed."
Band Members:

Latest News:
Hello, folks! I'm happy to report that I have a new CD, One Brother, due out late this or early next year (2008). This is a very different recording, if you've heard my last CD, The Big Machine. This time, I go for a stripped down sound. Much of it is just my piano and voice. It's more intimate, more passionate, and has already been getting praise from the few who've had a chance to listen in.
In the meantime, you can always check my website - AND - head to CDBaby and buy a copy of The Big Machine.
Good then.
