Music types: Alternative, Rock
Description:
Rage Radio was formed in May of 2003. The band can be described as an original Alternative 5-piece Acoustic/ Electric band located in Colorado Springs. Each member of the group has a wide range of professional recording, performing, and life experiences. Everyone comes from different parts of the country and this makes for a cool mix of styles.

If someone asked, "What kind of music do you play?" The answer would be "Good question, check us out and let us know." I guess the best description would be an alternative modern folk rock with a 70's blues/rock based foundation. If someone asked about the foundation, the answer would be, "Solid Baby, Ya."

Band Members:
Robert Fox: (Rhythm/Lead guitar) Robert has performed and worked with Huney Bucket, Sea of Black, and written and recorded with Regan Berger from Brokenness & Groovy Times In Babylon and numerous other Seattle musicians and bands. His influences range from Alice in Chains to Days of the New.

Travis Duncan: (Vocals) Travis hails from Indiana. You may have heard of this state from Hollywood films like "The Royal Tennenbaums" or songs like Tom Petty's "Last Dance with Mary Jane." Typically seen as a place where outlaws go to die, Travis took to wearing a mask and screaming into microphones at local bars to heighten the emotional isolation.

Steve Cummings: (Drums) Steve has performed and recorded with Dupree, worked with Nine Below Zero and Van Meter as well as numerous Cleveland bands and musicians. His influences range from Aerosmith to Frank Zappa and everything in between.

Larry Paney: (Bass) Larry's influences range from Black Sabath to Led Zepplin, Jimmy Hendrix to Earth Wind and Fire. He came down off the mountain with stone tablets saying, "I bring you funk. Give up your golden calf and your life-size Britney Spears poster." Watch out for this bass prophet's slick rhythm arsenal.

Tom Jervis: (Rhythm Guitar) Described by Mr. T as "one hard-core gnarl bird," Tom rose from the swamplands of Mississippi like a mighty guitar-wielding Phoenix. He has performed and recorded with Ten lb. Test and A.V.G.E. AKA "Arnold's Volcanic Groin Explosion."
