The group’s newest CD release of “Crazy Enuff” will be launched along with this video taping open to the public on March 26, 2004. “Bringing the release back to our hometown to be a part of our video is very important to us”, stated one of the band members. Recently the new CD was released on web radio and debuted at #3. This exposure has attracted the attention of American and European radio alike. The Vinewood Roadhouse location was selected for the taping due to the authentic country atmosphere. The 100 plus year history features the largest wooden dance floor in the State of Kansas. The newly redecorated venue has scheduled their Grand Opening that same evening and is nestled near the dam at Lake Shawnee. Roy Frey Western, who provides Dixie Road’s wardrobe, will feature a Western Fashion Show during the intermission. Jo Turner, owner of Roy Frey Western stated, “The western lifestyle is so prevalent now that we see it in things we do everyday, such as our music and entertainment. For this reason it makes sense for us to be involved with Dixie Road.” Dixie Road’s Producer, Eddie Kilgallon, provides the inspiration and drive behind the band. A great musician in his own right, Eddie “K” penned the #1 smash hit for George Strait, “One Night At A Time”, and was awarded “ASCAP Song of the Year” for his efforts. Eddie “K” is currently on tour with Montgomery Gentry and has made plans to attend the CD release event. The band has been involved in benefits for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society. This year Dixie Road will perform on April 2 for Topeka’s “Relay For Life”. Dixie Road has opened for over 30 National Acts and has registered radio airplay in over 12 states and abroad.
