The Wind-Up Merchants

Band Members:
josh schachterle – guitar/vocals danny huber – bass/vocals john peterson – drums/vocals

Peterson and Schachterle first came together in the Denver band eleven2go which played around the Colorado front range for two years and then broke up due to the members’ disparate influences. At the same time, Peterson and Schachterle realized they shared the same love for pop-punk and Cheap Trick. They began writing and recording together, which eventually resulted in their self-titled demo. Full of fun, energetic pop-punk and quiet, contemplative folk-pop, this album was the payoff for lots of hard work and dedication to songwriting, but something was lacking. With the addition of Danny Huber on bass, the trio was ready to take on the impending quiet with their own brand of beautiful noise.
